Waiver, Exclusion of Liability and Image Consent for Participants (Under 18 Years)

1. I understand that I will be participating in the Criiio Kid’s Cricket Festivals, which involves playing cricket and taking part in related activities during the season (the Event).
2. The Event is operated by ICC/Cricket Canada together with local cricket communities (the Organizers).
3. I understand that there are risks involved in taking part in the Event. I confirm that:
    (a) I have been given enough information about these risks to understand them;
    (b) I understand these risks;
    (c) I know that these risks may include injury, illness, or in rare cases serious harm, as well as damage to property;
    (d) I am choosing to take part in the Event voluntarily; and
    (e) I accept the risks that come with participating.
4. I agree to follow all instructions, rules, and safety directions given during the Event, and to wear any required safety equipment.
5. I understand that the Organizers may decide, at their discretion, not to allow me to take part in the Event if they believe it is not safe for me to do so, or for any other reason.
6. I understand that if food or drinks are provided, it is my responsibility (and my parent/guardian’s responsibility) to ensure they are safe for me to consume, especially if I have allergies or medical conditions.
7. I understand that I should not rely on any promises or statements made by the Organizers about the Event.
8. To the fullest extent allowed by law, any legal guarantees or warranties that might normally apply are excluded.
9. To the fullest extent allowed by law, I agree that I will not make any legal claims against the Organizers for anything that happens as a result of:
    (a) my participation in the Event, including any accidents, injuries, or losses; or
    (b) any actions or decisions made by the Organizers or others involved in the Event.
10. I understand that I (and my parent/guardian on my behalf) may be responsible for any loss or damage caused by me if I do not follow the rules or instructions during the Event.
11. I agree that while participating in the Event, I will:

(a) behave safely and follow all rules;
(b) not use alcohol, drugs, or any harmful substances; and
(c) tell the Organizers if I have any medical condition that may affect my ability to safely participate.

12. I understand that I may be photographed or filmed during the Event (Content). I agree that:

* The Organizers will own the rights to these photos and videos;
* They may use, edit, and share them in any way they choose; and
* I will not object to how they are used.

13. I (and my parent/guardian on my behalf) agree that ICC/Cricket Canada may use my name, image, voice, appearance, and any photos or videos of me for promoting the Event or related activities, in any media, for an unlimited time, without payment.
14. I confirm that I understand what I am agreeing to in this document.

Parent or Legal Guardian Consent (Required for All Participants Under 18 Years)

Because I am under 18 years of age, my parent or legal guardian confirms that they have read and understood this waiver. They consent to my participation in the Criiio Kid’s Cricket Festivals and accept all terms of this waiver on my behalf.
