Pilot UCD PATH 5 Bursary

The pilot UCD PATH 5 Bursary is open to all Traveller and Roma students in UCD.

The aim of the UCD PATH 5 Bursary is to support access and retention/success by alleviating some of the costs of attending college.  The fund is open to both part-time and full-time students. 

Please note that funding is limited and is not guaranteed. During the academic year, applications submitted by the 23rd of each month will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and you will receive an outcome by the end of that month.

To be eligible for this bursary students must be:

  • A member of the Irish Traveller Community
  • A member of the Roma Community
And:

  • Students must be a registered student at UCD either as a full-time or part-time student.
  • Financial Need - Low household income (less than €50,840 a year).
  • Entered UCD through an Access Admissions Pathway.
  • Motivation to study at higher education.
The Application Process:
Once you have submitted this form you will be contacted through email by the Traveller & Roma Access Officer around the budget to be completed and the supporting documentation required for this funding application. During the academic year, applications submitted by the 23rd of each month will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and you will receive an outcome by the end of that month.
