The proposed reflection sprint will lead to a visual roadmap for shaping a hybrid future catalysed by ProSocial AI.
The ambition is to design tools to harness ProSocial AI to serve people and planet - or, to design, develop and deploy technology to advance human and planetary flourishing. The map will connect individual choices, technological development, institutional choices, economic incentives, governance, social cohesion and planetary boundaries to make visible how today’s decisions are shaping tomorrow’s hybrid conditions.
Its guiding proposition is simple: AI must help create a future that is pro-people, pro-planet and pro-potential by strengthening human agency and relationships, operating within ecological limits, and preserving the conditions for present and future generations to develop their inherent capabilities.
The map will be developed with an organic process facilitated by Ole Qvist-Sorensen/Dr Cornelia C Walther.
1. Two-hour pre-GTP session on 11 October 15:00 - 17:00 (Venue : Rooftop Terrace, Mezzanine 1, Graduate Centre), convening like-hearted and unlike-minded thinkers and practitioners interested in meaning-making in the hybrid future, surfacing tensions, assumptions and possible leverage points.
2. During GTP, two breakfast sessions and relevant panels will test, enrich and challenge the emerging logic against the wider tipping-points agenda. Click here to register: https://forms.gle/rTJwgeA4J9kRvtZq6
3. Two-hour post-GTP session on 15 October 15:00 - 17:00
(Venue : Function Room 3, Level 1, Sunway University) , to connect the dots, distil what has shifted, and consolidate the first coherent version of the roadmap, which will come to support the final declaration, and the outcome report.
This initial cycle will serve as a point of departure for a longer sharing and shaping journey, leading up to shape the post2030 Agenda with a pragmatic proposition.
After GTP the map continue to be nurtured through inputs from COP31, InTent/Davos, the Planetary Health Alliance Conference 2027, GTP 2027 etc.
If we manage to make it simple and memorable, it might over time become a shared reference point for actors working across technology, development, policy, finance and planetary health: a practical way to see the hybrid tipping zone, identify where agency can still be exercised, and translate ProSocial AI from principle into coordinated action.
Please join us to make that happen !
