PSB-Letter of Suitability Request
This form allows you to request to send a suitability determination letter (Letter of Suitability) to a Massachusetts' school-based employer from the Public Schools of Brookline. Please note that according DESE Education Laws and Regulations 603 CMR 51.06, PSB will issue a letter of suitability "if the following criteria are met:

  1. (a) The suitability determination was made within the last seven years; and

  2. (b) The individual has not resided outside Massachusetts for any period longer than three years since the suitability determination was made...

You need to provide:
- Your employee information
- Your approximate fingerprinting date
- Contact information for the letter's recipient

NOTE:  If we have your original SAFIS report, we will send a Letter of Suitability within 5-7 school days to the specified employer. (Letters may take up to 10 business days in the summer.)
