Become a student leader this NSO, and volunteer with Penn’s Sustainability Office for Move-In Green 2018!

Move-In Green volunteers help spread news and information regarding sustainability on campus, while helping with hands-on recycling activities to reduce waste going to landfill. If you are enthusiastic about sustainability and want to help engage with new and returning Penn students, we want you on our team!

Volunteering is a great way to jump-start your year and meet other students interested in sustainability! All volunteers receive free early move-in privileges and dining dollars. Take a look at the application below for full details and dates!

Volunteer duties include staffing outreach tables at the Quad, Hill, and High Rises, sharing information with students regarding sustainable living at Penn, educating students about recycling on campus, distributing free recycling bins and LED bulbs, assisting with hands-on recycling projects in College Houses, and keeping students informed about opportunities to get involved in the Penn community.

Ideal candidates are motivated, responsible, with a passion for all things environmental and great interpersonal skills!

All Move-In Green volunteers will receive free early move-in privileges, dining dollars during NSO, and a special Move-In Green t-shirt. Volunteering is a great way to start your year, beat the move-in rush, and meet other students interested in sustainability on campus!

Participation Requirements
All Move-In Green volunteers are required to work for a minimum of 20 hours to qualify for early move-in privileges. Any student who fails to meet that requirement will be billed for early move-in. Other than being present for the duration of the Move-In Green program (Monday through Wednesday, August 20-22). Make up opportunities will be made available for students with legitimate conflicts, but must be scheduled in advance.
