You are invited to participate in a research study conducted by study conducted by 3rd Year BS Psychology students from Cavite State University-Main Campus. The Cyber Micro-Cheating Engagement Scale aims to measure the subtle online behaviors—such as flirtatious messaging, secrecy in digital interactions, emotional intimacy online, and comparing one's partner to other's encountered on social media—that may influence trust and emotional boundaries in romantic relationships.

By participating, you will:

Answer a total of 35 items related to your online interactions and relationship experiences.
Spend approximately 20-25 minutes completing the form.
Contribute to the development of a culturally relevant psychological tool.

To ensure transparency and uphold ethical research standards, the following information outlines your rights as a participant and how your data will be handled in accordance with the Philippine law:

Your participation is entirely voluntary. You may withdraw at any time or skip any item that causes discomfort.
No identifying information will be collected. Your responses will remain anonymous and confidential.
Data will be used solely for academic purposes.

In compliance with Republic Act No. 10173, or the Data Privacy Act of 2012, the following provisions will be observed:

Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable laws and ethical standards
You authorize the researchers to manage your data solely for research purposes, provided your identity remains anonymous
No information will be disclosed to any individual via phone or email, except the researchers directly involved in this study.

Potential Risks and Benefits:

Some items may prompt reflection on personal relationship experience. You may discontinue participation at any point if you feel discomfort.
Your participation will contribute to a deeper understanding of digital relationship dynamics and support the development of a culturally relevant psychological scale
