WHO CAN APPLY: This application is open to handmade makers and crafters. Fair trade vendors and curated vintage vendors considered. This event does not include MLM or Direct Sales vendors.

THIS SHOW IS CURATED. The goal is to have a diverse offering of products with a solid mix of established vendors and new-to-the-scene vendors. It's also a goal to keep from over saturating any one category. Our last market had over 180 applications but only 80 spots open, so unfortunately we are not able to include everyone.

A NOTE ABOUT BOOTH FEES AND CANCELLATIONS
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All Booth Fees will be due on Sunday, June 19th by end of day. If you have any issues with paying your booth fee at all, please contact me as soon as you can so we can work something out.

If you drop out of the market more than three weeks prior to show date (6/18), you will receive a full refund of your booth fee, minus any Paypal processing fees.
If you drop out more than two weeks prior to show date (6/25), you will receive at least 50% of your booth fee refunded, minus any Paypal processing fees.
Dropping out any sooner incurs a lot of additional stress and organization on my part, and thus your payment may be forfeit.

In the past I have been very patient and understanding with booth fees and due dates, and for the most part this practice will continue. HOWEVER I will have a more strict response policy going forward;
If you're having trouble paying your booth fee on time I would just like to be notified of the fact, and your plan to correct it. I will do my best to inform you of your obligations in a timely fashion and all I ask is that you communicate with me in return :)

A NOTE ABOUT LOCATIONS
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Based off of sales information provided from the venues from our previous markets, each location seems to be having similar traffic. That said, the following may prove to be important in selecting where you think your audience shops/drinks/eats;

STATE LINE DISTILLERY- Trendy newer location, politically progressive, mostly booze and cocktails, board games and snacks. The venue itself is medium to bright, spacious and popular. Outdoor patio, well-lit areas, more street parking nearby than most venues and located next door to another venue.

IMAGINARY FACTORY- Imaginary Factory are another newer but clever and burgeoning local venue. They are an adorable little bar just a couple doors down from State Line, and are friendly with each other. These two venues will offer feed traffic to each other throughout the day, so both are good choices due to their proximity. IF has garage doors that are open in fair weather, moderate lighting and often feature unique food offerings during shows.

WORKING DRAFT- Some of you MMM veterans may recall that we used to vend here in 2018-2019 and it was great! This location is located right in the middle of the groupings of State Line/Imaginary Factory and Giant Jones/Old Sugar, directly across from Central Park. This venue is medium sized, well-lit and already popular for supporting local artists and offering small plates to accompany their delicious and ever-rotating selection of beer.

GIANT JONES- Legacy location, around the corner from OLD SUGAR. Enjoys bright indoor lighting, a garage door that is open in fair weather, a popular crowd. They offer a rotating selection of some standards and newer beers that are always in development. Politically progressive, part of a promotional cooperative that includes STATE LINE and VINTAGE.

VINTAGE CAPITOL EAST-  Legacy location, around the corner from THE SYLVEE and across from Breese Stevens Field. Smaller venue with outdoor patio seating and middling to bright light. Politically neutral, serves beer and is also a full-service restaurant. Generally pretty busy and popular when there isn't an event, so expect a lot of traffic.

THE SYLVEE- Concert venue around the corner from VINTAGE CAPITOL EAST, bright light. Massive venue, very popular for concerts and events. This event performed beautifully during the last few events and we've continued to refine layout and logistics here. Expect bright lights, lots of foot traffic and proximity to lots of food options.

ALSO, PLEASE INCLUDE NOTES ABOUT OTHER VENDORS YOU'D LIKE TO BE AROUND OR ANY OTHER LIMITATIONS/NEEDS/HOPES REGARDING THE SHOW. This will influence your venue and booth assignment.

APPLICATION TIMELINE AND TERMS
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This first round of applications closes Midnight on Sunday, May 29th, 2022. You will hear back about whether or not you got into the show by 9pm on Thursday, June 2nd, 2022.

IF YOU DO NOT APPLY BY THE FIRST DEADLINE YOUR ODDS OF GETTING INTO THE SHOW WITH THE BOOTH OR LOCATION YOU DESIRE GET WORSE BY THE WEEK, SO PLEASE BE TIMELY WITH YOUR APPLICATIONS.

Once accepted into the show you may pay your booth fee via PayPal or check by mail, no later than Friday, April 1st- That's right, April Fool's day, and about a month prior to show time. Feel free to use it, but the point is that I won't spend your money until I know this show is happening.

Please note: I am restating this because this is very important to remember -- It is our goal to have a diverse mix of vendors. With each market we try and have 60-70% of our vendors as returning vendors, 25-35% of our vendors as new to the market, and the remaining vendors completely new to the scene, with this being their first show. We also try to limit vendors per category per venue.

IF YOU ARE A RETURNING VENDOR: I don't necessarily have all the information regarding you or your business, and it's just easier if I don't have to dig up an old application, so I would really appreciate it if you would fill in the application in full.
