It's time for a new season of Spirit In Motion! If you're looking for a place to have fun, meet new people, and learn from the best dance instructors around, then SIM is the team for you!
Spirit in Motion is a ballroom and Latin dance company based in West Sacramento at Spotlight Ballroom. We welcome dancers of all levels, new and experienced, to join our team and celebrate our love of dance. We've performed at all types of venues, from private events to the CA State Fair to competing at the International Grand Ball!
Auditions are Monday, May 18th at 8:00pm. If you cannot attend this audition date, please fill out the registration anyway and let us know you'll need a makeup audition in the final question.
Please wear athletic clothing that you can move freely in. Also wear your suede-soled danced shoes, if you have them. We will teach you choreography at the audition - no need to prepare anything in advance and no partner needed. You will dance with the other auditionees at the audition.
The Summer Season will run from June to October 2026.
