This year's convention will be here before we know it and our planning team is working hard to bring everyone a great experience for all our attendees. The theme this year is "Radioactive" and one of our ideas involves stations setup for attendees to be able to talk about Amateur Radio topics that they're interested in. These tables are called "Information Stations". As we all know, there are almost an infinite number of topics that us as operators can be involved in. Topics such as satellite operation, DXing, regulations, volunteering, teaching and so much more!
We are also looking for volunteers to run these tables. The expectations for the volunteers are as follows:
- Be willing to talk about your topic for the table.
- Provide demonstration equipment. Nothing too elaborate, just what you need to show off your interest in the topic. For example, if you are at the CW table, bring some different keyers to show off how they work and what they sound like.
- Since these will be available all day, we ask for at least 2 hours of your time at the table. If you can do more hours that great!
Please take some time to complete this short form if you would be willing to volunteer for a station. Thank you in advance for your participation!
