PRSP Camp Host Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Camp Host at Pocomoke River State Park.  Please take your time and fill out this document to the best of your ability.   After completions our Volunteer Coordinator will be in contact with you to set up an Interview.

Beginning January 1, 2025, Pocomoke River State Park will implement a revised Camp Host program. Under this updated structure, agreements will operate on a month-to-month basis, with a maximum duration of six months, followed by a mandatory three-month break.

Camp Hosts play an important role in the operations of the park and are the front-line ambassadors for our guests.   As the program continues to evolve and improve, we want to ensure that expectations are clearly understood and agreed upon and that our Host volunteers are the best fit for the park and its needs.

Pocomoke River State Park Camp Hosts are required to perform a minimum of 28 hours per week per registered host. Hours are recorded on logs and turned into the Camp Host Coordinator every week.  Tasks are listed and are recorded in increments of 30 minutes or more.

Hosts are provided with a campsite that includes a 30 amp electric hookup.  Sites do not have water or sewer hookups.  Sites in Deer Run, Acorn Trail, and Milburn Loops are pet-friendly.  Service animals are permitted but hosts should provide notification prior to arrival.
