There is no commitment involved here, just a chance to inform us of your interests, so we can best utilize our wonderful volunteer resources. Below you will find our events throughout the year. Please select the activities that you may be interested in.

Kids Plant Day flyer handout – Saturday morning the week before Mother's Day. Volunteers distribute flyers at the Edmonds Market to inform families of the upcoming Kids Plant for Mom’s Day event.

Kids Plant Day - Saturday before Mother's Day. At our booth at the Edmonds Farmer's Market, volunteers help children select colorful pails, stickers to decorate them and flowers to plant - creating a gift for a special someone.

Garden Recognition Event – Any time during the month of June. Teams of volunteers canvas Edmonds neighborhoods looking for lovely front yard gardens to recognize. Surprised and appreciative gardeners are presented an Edmonds in Bloom flag for their garden.

Garden Tour – Sunday in mid-July. Volunteers can be docents at one of the gardens on the tour.

Garden Tour Committee – Members of this committee meet monthly throughout the year. They select the gardens for the following year, and then begin to plan and coordinate the various activities that make the Garden Tour a success.

De-Potting event – A weekday morning in early October. Volunteers spend a satisfying morning assisting City Park employees in removing the spent annuals from the hanging baskets.

Edmonds in Bloom Board member – Meet monthly. These individuals volunteer their time to ensure Edmonds in Bloom runs smoothly and provides more garden projects to Edmonds than ever before.
