Season of Faithful Witness Interest and/or Commitment Form

The Season of Faithful Witness is an opportunity to respond to the many ways that public policies are causing suffering and pain, in areas such as immigration, racism, health care, food assistance and affordability.

Promoting and protecting Human Dignity is the overarching theme of our public witness/public actions. 

Our message:

  • We stand against the cruelty/violence in our public policies

  • We affirm the human dignity of all

  • We stand together in solidarity and proclaim a vision rooted in mercy and love

We seek to organize a wave of authentically Catholic public witness/action events across the country between Ash Wednesday and Corpus Christi to express deep solidarity with all those being harmed by harsh public policies and the toxic rhetoric that fuels them, and to affirm the human dignity of every Child of God. 

By integrating the elements of Scale, Story and Solidarity, we will catalyze a growing movement of Catholics over these 5 months to promote human dignity and compassion in our public life, and to stand against cruelty and dehumanization.
