  1. BACKSTAGE MANAGEMENT: Guide actors on and off stage and keep scenes running on time; perfect if you like fast-paced coordination and being at the centre of the action.
  2. CHOIR: Sing in major scenes and lift the whole production with strong vocals; great for anyone who loves singing.
  3. COSTUME SEWING TEAM: Sew, repair, and prepare costumes; perfect for hands-on, creative volunteers.
  4. DANCE CHOREOGRAPHY ASSISTANTS: Help teach choreography to kids and teens and assist with rehearsals; great if you enjoy movement and guiding younger performers.
  5. DRESSING TEAM: Help actors get into costume quickly during dress rehearsals and show days; ideal for organised helpers who thrive backstage.
  6. FOOD TEAM: Organize meals and snacks for the cast and crew; perfect for volunteers who enjoy hospitality and supporting the team.
  7. HAIR AND MAKEUP: Do simple stage makeup and basic hair styling; great for volunteers who enjoy adding finishing touches that complete each character.
  8. LIGHTS: Run lighting cues during rehearsals and performances; ideal if you want to help set the mood for every scene.
  9. MUSIC (INSTRUMENTALISTS): Play during key moments and rehearse with the music team; ideal if you want your talent to shape the atmosphere of the play.
  10. PROPS TEAM: Organise props and move them between scenes; ideal for detail-oriented volunteers who keep things running smoothly.
  11. SET CONSTRUCTION: Build stage pieces and help with setup and takedown; perfect if you’re handy and like creating the physical world of the play.
  12. SET DESIGN: Paint, decorate, and shape the visual look of the set; perfect for artistic volunteers who want to leave a creative mark.
  13. SOUND: Run microphones, cues, and volume levels; perfect for tech-friendly volunteers who want the audience to hear every moment clearly.
  14. TICKETS: Help sell and organize ticket sales on weekends; great for friendly, organized volunteers.

  • After you sign up: The lead of the team you selected will contact you directly. Please make sure your contact information is correct.
  • WhatsApp communication: Our main way of communicating will be through WhatsApp. Please download the app so we can reach you and send updates.
  • Save the date: Our first general meeting will take place on Sunday, January 4 at 2 PM. Please plan to attend.
  • Screening process: Anyone helping with the play agrees to complete the screening process required by the Archdiocese of Toronto, which includes a criminal background check. This helps ensure the safety of children, youth, and all vulnerable people.
  • Invite others: If you know someone with skills that would be helpful for any of these teams, share the link with them and encourage them to get involved.
