Health Education Standards-Advisory Committee Application

The South Dakota Department of Education is seeking individuals interested in serving on an advisory committee to help inform the revision of the Health Education content standards. The current standards can be viewed here.

The work will occur during an in-person two-day session on October 1st-2nd, 2024, in Pierre. Additional virtual sessions in October and November will only be held if necessary. Committee members are expected to attend all meetings and be fully available during any virtual sessions. Stipends and travel reimbursement will be provided to committee members.

If you are interested in serving on the committee, complete this form indicating your interest. This form will close September 6th. Individuals selected for the committee will be notified promptly after the deadline.
