Pre-K 619 Peer Model Program Recruitment 💛
The program is designed for students with diverse abilities (students who receive an array of support under an Individualized Education Program (IEPs)) as a part of federal and state funding. Our program provides a unique experience as we invite peer models to participate in the program in order to provide our exceptional learners with the opportunity to learn from same-aged peers through modeling of appropriate developmental skills. This also allows us to maintain a general education setting for our students. We strive to challenge every student in the classroom setting to help them reach and/or exceed their academic and social-emotional potential. If your child is Kindergarten age eligible, they will not be able to participate as a Peer Model.
Please read through the Handbook of Expectations for our Peer Models.
