We rely on both member donations and volunteers to fund and support our journey to:

- Restore the Mechanics' Institute Building
- Expand community use of the Central Community Centre
- Obtain accreditation for the Railway Museum
- Restore the Cricketers building for community use
- Expand the use of the Baker's Cafe'
- Maximise our social impact and support the local and wider community
- Maximise our sustainable practices and reduce our carbon footprint

Volunteering

You can join our no obligation team of volunteers. We offer a range of opportunities for both corporate and individual volunteers.

Anyone can volunteer, irrespective of skills, ability and experience. It can be very rewarding and is a great way to:

- Meet new people
- Gain new or use existing skills
- Get experience
- Make a big difference to your community

We pride ourselves on being flexible in our working relationship with our volunteers. We will contact you with opportunities so that you can chose your hours to suit you.
