2020-2021 Multicultural Connections and Advisement Program (MCAP) Student Mentor Application - Due Monday, August 3, 2020
Thank you for your interest in the Multicultural Connections and Advisement Program sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA).

MCAP provides underrepresented new students (first-year and transfer) the opportunity to build connections with current VCU students, faculty, and staff members. MCAP provides new students with a student mentor (sophomore - senior)and connections with faculty/staff members to help them navigate their first year at VCU.

Please note that mentors are required to:
- attend one mentor training per semester
- meet with your mentee in-person or virtually at least twice per month
- attend mentor meetings once a month
- attend at least two social, cultural, leadership or professional development programs with your mentee each semester
