A Drink For Tomorrow Leadership Application
Thank you for your interest in ADFT! We are looking to build a fantastic leadership team for the 2016-2017 school year. To apply, please submit this Google Form AND send your resume to adftunc@gmail.com by March 11th, 2016 at 11:59PM. A description of each leadership area is below.

ADFT has an Executive Board made up of a number of Director positions and led by 2-3 Co-Presidents. The following are the areas in which we have positions to fill:

Co-President: The Co-Presidents are responsible for all of the moving parts of this organization. If you are applying for this position, you should be passionate about ADFT and what we stand for, fantastic at communication, and be great at balancing the big picture and the details. You need to know how to manage teams and be a leader in both the good and the bad times. Ideally, this person should have some past experience with ADFT, or should at least have leadership experience with another organization, but anyone is welcome to apply.

On-Campus Outreach: This position entails working with other student groups, academic departments, and administrators to extend ADFT's on-campus reach. The purpose of this position is to seek out and build partnerships, as well as to identify and pursue opportunities for expanding ADFT's impact on campus. This job requires creativity, persistence, and great communication skills.

Off-Campus Outreach: This position involves working with local businesses or organizations to promote ADFT's mission, as well as getting the local community involved in our events. Generally, this involves organizing benefit nights and getting sponsors for events, but it could also involve tackling advocacy for local/state/domestic water issues.

Major Events: This position requires being adept at logistics, but also having a knack for producing great, original ideas. You need to be able to effectively organize things like catering, sound equipment, decorations, venues, and whatever other details are needed. But you would also take the lead on brainstorming fresh ideas for exciting, successful events.

Publicity: Social media, email, graphic design, multimedia, events publicity... this job involves promoting ADFT's brand and communicating with both our most loyal supporters and the people who have no idea that we exist.

Finance/Development: This area may be split up into multiple positions (if applying for this area, please specify which area(s) you are specifically interested in on your application: finance, grant writing, and/or development). We need people to manage our budget and our SAFO account, but we also need someone to spearhead our fundraising efforts. This could include email campaigns, sponsors, events, corporate partnerships, and/or grant writing.

International Projects: This position requires some level of Spanish writing proficiency (intermediate at the minimum). You would be responsible for communicating and managing our relationship with our non-profit partner in Bolivia, the Rio Beni Foundation, and also for organizing ADFT's trip to Bolivia (likely in December 2016). Additionally, this position entails developing a longer-term plan/approach to ADFT's international projects.

Social/General Body: You would be responsible for planning ADFT's General Body Meetings, but also for fostering a sense of community within Exec and the general body! You would be in charge of FUN: planning social gatherings, events, or field trips that bring us closer together as a group.
