We love vegan and vegan-friendly businesses and we love to promote you through our local vegan market which is free for attendees.
You don’t need to personally be a vegan to join our market, we just ask that the products you bring are. That means free of any sort of animal and their by-products. This includes but is not limited to: meat, dairy, eggs, honey, whey, gelatin, fur, leather, wool, bone, horn, ivory, silk, silk by-products, shell, pearls, shellac, confectioners glaze, beeswax, bee pollen, carmine, cochineal, and red dye #4. If you have any questions on if a product you use is animal-derived, just ask (firstname.lastname@example.org)!
Minimum Vendor Requirements:Products being sold must be 100% vegan.Priority to locally made (Colorado Springs first, then Colorado State). Must be able to bring own booth set up (tables/chairs/stands) marketing, supplies, power cords, and staff.Food vendors must comply with local health code and obtain necessary permits: https://www.elpasocountyhealth.org/sites/default/files/files/services/Retail-Food-Establishment-Licensing/2017%20Special%20Event%20Packet_revised%205.2017.pdf (You must provide proof of a valid El Paso County Public Health Special Event License by Sept 1, 2019)
For the Fall Market We Do Not Accept:Multi-level marketing businesses (not sure if your business is an MLM? here's a list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_multi-level_marketing_companies)
We Never Accept: Non-vegan products

On Market Day: 1. BRING YOUR OWN TABLE and CHAIRS2. All vendors must abide by the terms to which they agreed on the application3. The organizers and venue are NOT responsible for your SET-UP or to cover your table during a market.4. During the event, vendors should not be consuming/eating/drinking non-vegan items. 5. All vendors must be respectful of the organizers, venue, other vendors and all attendees. We have a ZERO tolerance policy when it comes to any form of discrimination (racism, homophobia, etc.), harassment, bullying, body shaming, etc.6. Vendor set-up is Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. 7. All vendors shall be set-up and ready to vend at 10 a.m. sharp. You will not be allowed to set up and vend if you arrive after the market opens. 8. Please do not bring non-human animals to your booth (trained service animals per the ADA welcome).
