Free entry

No prizes or trophies but top players will receive recognition on the ICA website and in NW Chess magazine.

Top girl will be named Idaho Representative to the Ruth Haring National Girl's Tournament of Champions/Susan Polgar Invitational Tournament, and Idaho's Top Woman will also be named.

STEP 1: Join or renew US Chess and Idaho Chess Association,

STEP 2: Complete this form (the one you are now viewing).

STEP 3: Validate Chess.com account with US Chess. *only if you have never done this for our tournaments.
Verify that you have registered your Chess.com username with US Chess.
Take a screenshot of your US Chess profile showing that you registered your Chess.com username with US Chess.
(If you don't know how to take a screenshot then just take a photo with your camera)
Email the screenshot to idahochessassociation@gmail.com

STEP 4: Join Chess.com
Free, regular membership is sufficient

STEP 5: Join Idaho Chess Association Woman's Club on Chess.com
Sign in to Chess.com and hover "Connect" then click "Clubs"
On the right side, click "Find clubs" and search for "ICA Women's and Girl's Club"
ICA should send you a club-invitation shortly after we receive this form from you

STEP 6: Set-up your camera
!!!!!PLEASE DO THIS WELL AHEAD OF TIME!!!!!
At a minimum, the TD's need to see your face (like the shot from a standard laptop camera)
Even better is if the TD's can see your face and your computer screen. Perhaps slightly behind the player to the right
A cell phone can be propped-up or taped into position.

STEP 8: Join the tournament
Players can join tournaments starting one hour before
On the left side, hover over “Play” and then click “Live Chess”
On the right side, click the “Tournaments” tab
Click the tournament name
Click the “Join” button
