Book a Student Media DJ
Thank you for booking with UAB’s Office of Student Media!

We currently charge per hour* for DJ services, which directly supports your student DJ. This includes pre-event planning and coordination as well as an MC/DJ, sound equipment, set-up, tear down, and custom playlist. Student Media charges a one-time administrative fee of $40 per event. If your event will not be providing a table to place our equipment, please let us know, as an additional fee may be charged.

*Current rates for DJ services are:
UAB student organizations................................$50/hr
UAB departments & supported organizations...$60/hr
External clients...................................................$85/hr

A representative will contact you regarding the event to discuss further details. Payments must be made directly to the Office of Student Media and can be done so via an Oracle transfer for internal organizations. Please note: You must make your DJ request at least two weeks in advance.

We reserve the right to refuse playback of any specific song/musical selection that has not been requested in advance that is not in our database.

Priority will be given to events and organizations we have DJ'd with/for in the past.
