National Call for Nurse Volunteers

Following widespread damage from Hurricane Melissa, volunteers are urgently needed to support patient care across affected areas (including, but not limited to, Black River Hospital).

Shifts: 8–48 hours, commencing Friday, 31 October 2025 (subject to safe access).

Conditions: Some sites are without electricity; duties may be in wards or field tents. Overnight shifts may require tent accommodation.

Access & Coordination: The JDF is working to restore safe corridors. Deployment is coordinated with the Health Emergency Operations Centre (HEOC) and volunteer lists will be shared accordingly.

Placement: If unable to serve at Black River Hospital, indicate willingness to be assigned to another location at the end of the form.

Please ensure that your participation does not conflict with obligations to your current employers.
