Role descriptions:

1. Community Co-Lead

*Key Responsibilities:
With guidance from Singapore+Acumen Co-Chair (Community), and in collaboration with the Singapore+Acumen Leadership team, this person will:
-Pro-actively engage Singapore+Acumen's community through planning and running relevant events and socials around +Acumen courses, impact investing, social entrepreneurship, etc.,
-Network and build relationships with relevant partners to explore collaborative opportunities, in particular for events
-Actively participate in Singapore+Acumen chapter leadership activities, including team calls, social events, and retreats

*Key Skills of the Ideal Candidate:
-Event management experience; able to plan and execute events independently from end-to-end
-Entrepreneurial and self-motivated; able to work independently and identify new opportunities for community engagement and collaboration
-Team player; proven ability to collaborate effectively with a small, young and diverse team
-Knowledge of and/or keen interest of the social impact space, especially in impact investing and social entrepreneurship

*Key Requirements:
-Ability to volunteer for at least 5 hours per week
-Ability to commit for at least 6 months as a volunteer

2. Impact Circle Co-Lead

*Key Responsibilities:
With guidance from Singapore+Acumen Co-Chair and Impact Circle Lead; and in collaboration with the rest of Singapore+Acumen Leadership team and Acumen Global Leadership Team, this person will :
-Primarily be in-charge of managing the relationships with the Impact Circle Members - a select exclusive group of 30 individuals, who come from a diverse set of backgrounds/professional experiences and have a keen interest in learning more about Acumen, Impact Investing and Social Enterprises
-Work with (and build relatipnships with) Acumen leadership (New York, London, India, etc…) to organize events / calls for Impact circle members focusing on Acumen (portfolio updates, sector updates, etc …), Impact Investing, Social Enterprises and other relevant objectives
-Work with Singapore+Acumen event team on conveying the members’ expectations and aspirations, to help organize (customized) events accordingly
-Keep the members updated on all relevant information, find ways to keep them engaged, address their concerns and organize frequent calls/meetings with them to get feedback.
-Network and build relationships with the relevant partners / peers in the space to explore collaborative opportunities
-Actively participate in Singapore+Acumen chapter leadership activities, including team calls, social events, and retreats


*Key Skills of the Ideal Candidate:
-Event management experience; able to plan and execute events independently from end-to-end
-Good communication skills, Entrepreneurial and self-motivated; able to work independently and identify new opportunities for community engagement and collaboration
-Relationship Management and/or Fundraising experience will be a value-add
-Team player; proven ability to collaborate effectively with a small, young and diverse team
-Knowledge of and/or keen interest of the social impact space, especially in impact investing and social entrepreneurship

*Key Requirements:
-Ability to commit for at least 9-12 months as a volunteer
-Ability to volunteer for at least 5 hours per week
