We offer two distinct programs, hybrid and fully online. Our hybrid program consists of blended in-person and online learning for grades K-12. Fully online instruction is available for grades 6-12. Factors that contribute to success in a hybrid or online model of learning:
There are many reasons why families may need to make alternative education choices. Please briefly share why you are exploring a nontraditional school option for your child. Please include your child’s thoughts and reasons why s/he thinks this will be a successful option for them. *
Will this student need a Peak Device checked out to him/her? (Student's transferring from another MCSD school will need to bring their District issued device with them).  All families will be required to sign the 24/25 Peak Device User Agreement. *

As a Peak parent, I would like to attend quarterly Peak Parent Advisory Council  meetings in 24/25.  Discussion topics will vary and be dependent on the need of the council. *
Peak Academy operates on a trimester schedule to accommodate the online learning aspect of our program. This differs to other MCSD schools who follow the semesters/quarters schedule.

Trimester 1 enrollment: March 25 through August 5th. August 26, 2024 is the last day we will take new students in grades 6-12 for Trimester 1. 
Trimester 2 enrollment: Through November 1st. 
Trimester 3  enrollment: Through Feb 3rd 

Please note that high school students should transfer at the end of the semester to avoid losing credits.
