TAVA 2024 BURSARY
TAVA Bursary Awards are designed to support professional development for our membership. We want to encourage your ongoing learning, engagement and growth!

TAVA aims to promote and support opportunities that further advance diversity, equity and inclusion, and the dismantling of systemic inequities. We enthusiastically encourage applications from TAVA members who identify as BIPOC (black, indigenous, and people of colour), LGBTQIA2S+ and/or navigate life and work with invisible or visible disabilities. We recognize the often intersecting nature of these identity markers and look forward to celebrating and supporting TAVA members with professional development funds. 

This year, a total of $500 in bursary funds will be distributed among successful applicants.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Applications are due Friday May 31 2024 by 11:59pm.

• Applicants must be a TAVA member in good standing (i.e. current membership fees paid in full)

• Applicants may be working, studying, or seeking employment in the volunteer management field

• To encourage new applicants, past recipients of a TAVA Bursary from the previous year (2023) are not eligible to apply. (Members of the Selection Committee are also not eligible to apply).

• The 2024 TAVA Bursary must be used for products, services, or workshops between January 1 and  December 31, 2024.

FURTHER DETAILS:
Each application will be assessed by the TAVA Bursary Selection Committee, chaired by Mab Coates-Davies.

⭐ Successful applicants will be notified by Monday June 10, 2024. ⭐

If your application is successful, we provide payment (reimbursement) upon receiving and verifying receipts (you will incur the expenses first, and we will reimburse you for those expenses)
