Know an exceptional 8–12th grade social studies teacher in the NYC area? Nominate them for the Hollyhock Humanities Fellowship!

This year-long fellowship offers educators the opportunity to learn from distinguished historians, develop effective teaching strategies, collaborate with NYC cultural institutions, and receive personalized instructional coaching. Fellows also join a dynamic community of educators and receive a $3,000 stipend.

Nominees must:
1. Teach social studies or history in grades 8–12

2. Have 3+ years of teaching experience

Preference will be given to teachers who teach in a school where 50% or more of students receive free or reduced-price lunch.

You’re welcome to nominate multiple educators. If a teacher you nominate applies, you’ll receive a $25 gift card as a referral bonus.
