Discover MUN Mentors - Applications
Hi Everyone!

The UNSW United Nations Society is currently accepting applications to join our Discover MUN Program! This is a valuable opportunity to improve and showcase your leadership and mentoring skills in helping develop the confidence and skills of high school students from disadvantaged communities. Regardless of whether you were an active member last year or would like to get more involved with UNSoc this year, we strongly encourage you to apply to be a mentor.

Members who join the program will be trained as mentors to guide the students through a MUN simulation and workshops, and assist them in confidence-building and skills development. Regardless of whether you are a first-timer in UNSoc and/or not experienced in Model United Nations, this is a fantastic opportunity to foster mentoring, communication, leadership and public speaking skills, while improving your own skills.

We will be hosting a range of one-day conferences throughout the year in high schools across Sydney, culminating in a final event at UNSW.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Alexander Mao (Mentoring Director) via email at or Ganeshmoorthy Chandrasekaran (VP Education) via email at

Note: You do not need to be a member of UNSW United Nations Society, or a UNSW Student to apply! The mentoring program is open to everyone!

There will be training to ensure you are well equipped for the conferences.
