Hello:
I am Jan Brett’s publicist. Each year Penguin (Jan Brett’s publisher) sends her on a national bus tour to meet fans. We love discovering new places and visiting old friends.

Jan will travel across the country to 23 markets from November 23rd to December 9th to celebrate the publication of "The Snowy Nap." Please fill-out the FORM BELOW by May 31st if you would like to propose/ host an event.

Requirements:
1) OPEN TO THE PUBLIC - all events must be open to the public (unfortunately, we cannot accommodate private visits to schools). Schools should partner with their local public library to submit a proposal.
2) GUARANTEED ATTENDANCE - Events usually attract between 250 and 450 people (and sometimes more). Please indicate the number of people that you guarantee for the event.
3) BOOKSTORE PARTNERSHIP - organizations must agree to partner with a designated local bookstore for robust sales of "The Snowy Nap" and Jan Brett’s other titles.

Please feel free to be as creative as possible!  "The Snowy Nap" stars Jan's trademark character, Hedgie, who fights his urge to hibernate in order to experience the magic of winter.
