Format: Online via Zoom
Target Audience: Educators from the countries of Film O'Clock 2025 (including Romania, Greece, Lithuania, Ukraine, Moldova, Bulgaria, Egypt, South Africa, Poland, Serbia, and Hungary)
Level: For educators with little to no experience in teaching film to children, or those who are looking to expand their skills in this area.  

This masterclass, led by experts from Schedia*, will explore the value of making films with children, focusing on the benefits they gain through creative expression.

The session will include group discussions on fiction and documentary films made by children. At the end of the masterclass, educators will have the opportunity to reflect on insights gained and explore how to apply them in their own teaching practices.

* Schedia, founded in 1987, is a non-profit Greek organization dedicated to defending human rights, with a special focus on children's rights. The organization promotes pedagogical research and artistic experimentation, using art as a tool for fostering respect for diversity. Schedia is renowned for its work in inclusive education, training teachers, and developing artistic intervention projects for marginalized groups. Since 1988, Schedia has been a pioneer in film education for children and has integrated filmmaking into its social intervention projects, both in Greece and internationally.
