I am on a mission to dig into the beliefs of Black Americans and their beliefs of the paranormal and all things spooky.

The paranormal "refers to a group of beliefs and phenomena that are rejected by mainstream science" (The SAGE Encyclopedia of the Sociology of Religion).

The data collected from this survey will be used to begin a new conversation about Black culture: our own paranormal beliefs. The results will be displayed on October 5, 2024, in Detroit, Michigan, at the DISBELIEF: A Paranormal Sound Gallery.
