Seattle Fringe Festival 2017 Application for Volunteers & Venue Supervisor/Technicians
With this form we are gathering application information for a number of important roles at the Fringe Festival, from Venue Technicians or Supervisors to Ushers and Box Office volunteers. You will get to indicate which roles you are interested in and will provide information accordingly.

A Fringe Festival Volunteer has many hats and serves as House Managers, Ushers, Box Office, Greeter, Bartender (Class 12 required), as well as assists in other pre- and post-festival needs.

Venue Technician is a paid position that serves as the eyes and ears of each venue and each production, and reports to the Festival Production Director. People in these roles are assigned a venue and up to 4 productions. They also will be required to assist with load-in (March 19) and technical set-up for their assigned venue and strike (April 2.)

All Volunteers and Technician will be able to see any show for free (based on remaining capacity in the house).

Note: You cannot be both a Venue Technician and fill another volunteer role, so select the option you most want when completing this form.

I acknowledge and understand that SFF2017 runs March 23 - Apr 1 (Thurs-Sun & Wed -Sat), with evening shows on weekdays and shows running throughout the day and into the evenings on weekends.
Do you have any major conflicts during the festival Mar 23 - Apr 1? Please detail dates and times you are NOT available in that time frame. (If you are applying to be a Venue Manager/Technician or to volunteer for pre-Fest needs, please also include your major conflicts Mar 18-22.)
We will do our best to accommodate special schedule needs you list on this form but cannot guarantee accommodations later or closer to festival.
What special skills/talents do you have?
