Free Online Bootcamp Sign-up
Thank you for your interest in Solutions Journalism Without Borders!
We're delighted to invite you to our very first 10-day Online Bootcamp for aspiring journalists interested in learning how to catalyse high-impact solutions journalism in their community. This is a limited-capacity opportunity for students based in Australia, Asia and Oceania to participate in a series of online workshops, produce and pitch a solutions-oriented story under the guidance of course mentors and network with professional journalists from around the world. In addition to receiving a certificate of completion and a discount voucher for a future study abroad program with us, top published stories which are successfully vetted will be added to the Solutions Journalism Network's Solutions Story Tracker, alongside award-winning journalists and correspondents.
This pilot program requires a minimum 6 hours commitment in the afternoons/evenings (depending on your timezone) over a 10 day period, in addition to a bonus follow-up call with a program mentor to assist in pitching your completed solutions story. While we strongly encourage attendance of the live zoom workshops to make the most out of this learning opportunity, we will also be sharing password-protected recordings to accommodate students with unavoidable scheduling conflicts.
Please note that this is a limited-capacity pilot program. However, there is no selection criteria and we welcome all students and aspiring journalists interested in practising solutions journalism. Responses to the questions in this form will be used to tailor the Online Bootcamp to student needs/interests.
We'll be in touch soon. If you have any burning questions in the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out to Solutions Journalism Without Borders founder Stephanie Capper at
