• I am aware of the extent of the tuition and living costs associated with studying in the Course Program and I am prepared to meet these costs.
• I have read, understood and agree to abide by the conditions of enrolment on this document and the student handbook.
• I have read and understood my responsibilities regarding health cover and visas.
• I am aware that weekly intakes are available for ELICOS course programs.
• All ELICOS students on student visas must attend at least 80% of their course and Vocational (VET) and ELICOS students must maintain satisfactory course progress. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation of enrolment and the student being reported to the Australian immigration authorities. Sick days are not noted as absences when a student presents medical certificates for any absences due to illness.
• I accept that Crumps International Pty Ltd (trading as Elston Education & Training or EET) will determine the grades that I achieve in the Course Program and that I will receive an offer of a place in my pathway program of first preference if I meet the grades specified for that program. In the event that I do not meet these grades I may be offered places in other programs if I meet their requirements. I hereby allow Crumps International Pty Ltd full access to my academic results that I obtain in any subsequent pathway program at pathway institution.
• I understand that my personal information, including my personal and contact details, course enrolment details and changes, and the circumstance of any suspected breach of my student visa condition, may be shared between Crumps International Pty Ltd and the Australian Government and designated authorities and the Tuition Protection Scheme
• I understand that if I provide incorrect or incomplete information, this may result in cancellation of my enrolment.
• I recognise that it is my responsibility to provide all necessary documentation to support this application.
• I authorise Crumps International Pty Ltd to obtain further information where necessary. If I am admitted to the Course Program, I agree to abide by this application and other rules and conditions of the program.
• I understand that I am obliged to notify Crumps International Pty Ltd of any change of address/phone and email while I am enrolled in the course.
• I acknowledge and give consent unconditionally for my images (photos and video) and testimonial(s) (written and verbal) to be utilised in the promotion of EET in websites, newspapers, television advertising and programs, flyers, brochures and other marketing materials, as a current or former student.
• I understand that if my English level is not equal to or higher than that indicated by the results of my LLN entrance test, my enrolment in the designated VET course(s) at EET will be changed over to an ELICOS course(s) with the entry level to be determined by EET by way of an English level placement test. Any extra cost involved in changing courses will be incurred by the student and no refunds are payable in this instance.
• I understand that I will be required to pay the difference in fees where course placement as dictated by the results of English level placement tests for English or other courses require a change to a higher priced course.
• Information is collected on this form and during your enrolment in order to meet our obligations under the ESOS Act and the National Code 2007 and for the purpose of operating as a Registered Training Organisation under the Australian Skills Quality Authority; to ensure student compliance with the conditions of their visas and their obligations under Australian immigration laws generally. The authority to collect this information is contained in the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000, the ESOS Regulations 2001 and the National Code of Practice for Registration Authorities and Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2007. Information collected about you on this form and during your enrolment can be provided, in certain circumstances, to the Australian Government and designated authorities and, if relevant, the Tuition Assurance Scheme and the ESOS Assurance Fund Manager. In other instances information collected on this form or during your enrolment can be disclosed without your consent where authorised or required by law. The College is required, under s19 of the ESOS Act 2000, to report certain changes to the student’s enrolment and any breach by the student of a student visa condition relating to attendance or satisfactory academic performance. It is a requirement of AQF that students can access personal information held by Crumps International Pty Ltd and may request corrections to information that is incorrect or out of date. This agreement is made in accordance with the ESOS Act 2000, ESOS Regulations 2001 and the National Code 2018. This agreement and the availability of complaints and appeals processes, does not remove the right to the student to take action under Australia’s consumer protection laws.
• You agree that Crumps International Pty Ltd will release information pertaining to their enrolment (excluding academic records), attendance and account details to their education agent.
• Crumps International Pty Ltd reserves the right to change its fees and conditions, cancel or defer courses, and to alter course timetables at any time.
