Free BT Wi-Fi vouchers support learning in lockdown
BT are offering schools free Wi-Fi vouchers to enable students in need to access the internet at home
Being connected is more important than ever. But many children still face difficulties accessing the internet at home. Supporting children’s education in these difficult times is a priority for BT, so following their scheme last year they are once again offering schools free Wi-Fi vouchers to enable students in need to access the internet at home.
Ysgol Clywedog have applied for a limited number of free Wi-Fi voucher codes to give to our most in-need students
We have a number of free Wi-Fi voucher codes available to distribute to students aged 16 or under who don’t currently have adequate access to internet connectivity at home.
How will the BT Wi-Fi Hotspot voucher codes work?
Each Wi-Fi voucher code will allow access to the internet on up to three devices at a time, for free until the end of July 2021. Access will be provided through BT’s network of over 5 million Wi-Fi hotspots around the country and includes comprehensive content filtering.
Please check you have a BT WiFi Hotspot accessible in your house (this may be via a neighbour - this is fine and won't affect their WiFi usage). Use a phone/computer to connect to WiFi and see if you have BTWifi, BTWiFi-X or BTOPen.
Once we’ve processed your application, we’ll send all the Wi-Fi voucher to your email address.
