Stephanie Lake Company - First Nations Placement Application
Stephanie Lake Company welcomes Naarm/Melbourne based First Nations dancers and/or choreographers, of all levels of experience, to apply for a placement with the company, across our 2025 program.

Only one position will be offered, and the successful dance artist will be involved in various exciting projects in 2025, including:
  • Rehearsal of existing works, eg; The Chronicles
  • Creative development of new work - working alongside the company dancers in creative tasks and rehearsal
  • Insight into the work ‘behind the scenes’ including production, producing and collaboration
  • Mentorship from Stephanie Lake
Dates and times are flexible and can be designed according to the availability of the recipient and alignment with Stephanie Lake Company projects, adding up to the equivalent of approximately 3.5 full-time weeks spread out between June 2025 - December 2025.
