In a response to the short dumping crisis facing our neighborhood, UNNA is spearheading an underpass revitalization project. Launched under our CUT (Clean Up Together) Campaign effort and partnered with our youth program U.N.I.T.Y (UNNA Nurturing & Impacting The Youth), the focus is to revitalize underpasses in our area with impactful art, lights, trashcans and cameras. We are looking for children (ages 13 to 17) for a weeklong camp (Mon July 11th- Fri July 15th) that involves applying paint and art to change walls in their community. Daily sessions are from 9-3 and include hands on art instruction, projects involving upcycling education and activities.
We are also in search of volunteers of all kinds who want to make a difference in the community, for the following:
Project prep (Friday July 8th-July 10th)
Camp Volunteer-Clearances Required (Mon July 11th- Fri July 15th; Lunch is provided daily.)
Weekend Community Event (Saturday July 16th-Sunday July 17th)
Visit the Volunteer Clearance Portal on our website for links and info. Clearances can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
