Soulwork - Fall '25 Interest Form

This Season Is Full — Join the Waiting List

We’re humbled and grateful—the response to this offering has been overwhelming, and all spots for this season are now filled. ✨

But the journey doesn’t end here. We’re still accepting submissions for our
waiting list. By adding your name, you’ll:

  • Be the first to know if a space opens up this season.
  • Receive early access when we announce our next gathering.

 ---------------------------------------------------------------

It’s a space for seekers, questioners, and dreamers who crave something deeper—a place to wrestle with big questions, imagine new possibilities, and re-center your spiritual life in ways that honor your story and the stories around you.

Over six weeks, we’ll gather in Durham for a bold experiment: a community-led theological lab where YOU help shape the conversation.

Together, we’ll explore themes like:

  • Contemplation & Spiritual Practices that Ground Us
  • Reimagining Faith / Spirituality for a New World
  • How Our Stories and Creation Can Teach Us
  • How to Navigate the Present Moment and World Around Us
Guided by some of the most compelling Black theological voices—Howard Thurman, Emilie M. Townes, James Cone, Willie Jennings, and others who invite us to wrestle with justice, beauty, and what it means to live well in the world.

 📅 When: Mondays, September 8 – October 13
🕑 Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Where: A cozy living room in Durham (in-person, address upon registration)
🍽 Community Meal: On our final night, we’ll share a meal together as we reflect on what we’ve learned.
💸 Cost: Free

What Makes This Different:
  • Choose Your Own Adventure: The group will decide which themes to dive into—Indigenous theology, Mysticism, womanist wisdom, liberation ethics—whatever sparks curiosity.
  • Not a Lecture Hall: This is dialogue. A safe space to challenge harmful ideas and reconstruct something life-giving.
  • Experts Who Listen: Based on what the group wants to explore, we’ll bring in local voices and thought leaders to join the conversation.
Bring your questions. Bring your story. Bring your hunger for something real. Because the world doesn’t need more empty answers—it needs people formed to listen, to imagine, and to live differently.

If this resonates with you, don’t wait—
add your name to the waiting list today. Whether it’s this season or the next, we’d love to journey with you.
