Join the Van Buren Conservation District & Two Rivers Coalition for the Spring Macroinvertebrate Stream Sampling!

Date: Sunday, 27 April 2025
Time: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Where: River Access Point in Lawrence (411 N Paw Paw St., Lawrence, MI 49064)

Take part in this citizen science project to help us monitor our stream health and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors!

Registration is required and minors need a guardian present during the event. All volunteers must be at least 10 years old. Volunteer Waivers must be filled out at the beginning of the event by all volunteers, and minors' waivers must be completed by a guardian. Stream monitoring events may occur on uneven terrain so proper footwear is recommended. Because of the outdoor setting of these events, bug spray, proper clothing, and equipment are encouraged. All tools and equipment will be supplied, including waders for those wading into streams.

By registering for this event, you will receive all communications related to your event. In the unlikely event we have to cancel for weather or unforeseen circumstances, we will send out an email and post to Facebook no later than 9:00 AM the morning of the event.
