We are asking vendors of data systems used by Michigan schools to register as "Participating Vendors" for Michigan Data Hub (MiDataHub). The goal of the project is to establish an ecosystem where all systems used in the state are able to exchange information through our regional data hubs using the Ed-Fi XML and REST API exchange specifications. The benefits of that for our schools will be more consistent and accurate data, a single place for actionable data, and reduced costs for management of data.
There is no cost or obligation to being a participating vendor. Signing up will allow you access to the vendor project on our Basecamp project management and collaboration system. It will also list you on our Product Catalog Page (
https://www.midatahub.org/product-catalog/) after the integration process has been completed.
You can reference our website at
https://www.midatahub.org/support/vendor-resources/. As you progress towards developing the connectivity, testing it and being certified, your status will be updated to reflect that. The benefits to you as a vendor for participating is that more districts will be able to integrate your system with other products, connected systems will have a preferred status for implementation in new districts and that your system could be deployed much more quickly in districts because the integration piece is already in place.
Please contact the Michigan Data Hub by email at
