Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue for Youth (IIDY)
Are you a believer of social diversity and harmony? Do you want to make a social change by promoting peace and understanding of culture, religion and belief?

Join us for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue for Youth (IIDY) on 1 & 2 April 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, organized by Komuniti Muslim Universal (KMU)! We are looking for youth champions for peace who are keen on promoting religious and cultural inclusivity in Malaysia. The application will close at 12am (GMT+8) 15 March 2017. We will announce the selected participants by 21 March 2017.

Eligibility
- You must be between 18-30 years old from any state in Peninsular Malaysia
- You must have a basic understanding of English and Malay languages (IIDY will be conducted in bilingual)
- You must have a strong interest in making changes in the society particularly on implementing the Marrakesh Declaration and Freedom of Religion and Belief
- You must be able to attend both days of IIDY and able to show good teamwork skill

The form will require you 5-15 minutes to fill in.

1. Who can apply this workshop?
- IIDY workshop is open for all gender, sexuality, race, religion and belief; we encourage individuals between 18-30 years old encompassing students, activists, artists, young leaders, journalists, academicians and others to apply for the workshop.

2. Will KMU cover my travel and accommodation expenses?
- KMU will provide a limited number of partial scholarship to cover your travel or accommodation expense for IIDY. This scholarship will be based on your necessity.

3. I want to join the workshop but I am deaf. Is there any special assistance provided?
- Yes, KMU always supports people with disabilities according to the availability of space and facility. Please don't let anything hold you back from applying.

4. Can I submit the application in Bahasa?
- Yes, you can submit the application in Bahasa and/or English.

5. What will I gain from the workshop?
- Fun-learning on the theoretical and practical aspects of Marrakesh Declaration and Freedom of Religion and Belief
- Networking with the like-minded youth from diverse backgrounds, human rights activists and academics
- Experience of a real interreligious and intercultural dialogue and community service
