The Championship is being held in the Wellington region on the Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 February with the calibration being held on Friday 1 February at 9:30am - 4pm.
The judges positions are varied. We need technical and sensory judges alongside shadow judges. Please note that industry and coffee experience are a pre requisite to judging.
Please be aware that the championship workshop held in November/December countrywide and calibration is a mandatory requirement. Visit www.nzsca.org for more details.
Please note if you are an experienced judge of two consecutive years plus, you still need to attend the workshop. Contact Emma Markland Webster prior to the workshop if this is the case.
Volunteering can be a rewarding way to get to know others in the coffee industry and to get close to the Championship action. Most of all, it's a lot of fun!
Judges are chosen after the calibration by the NZSCA judges committee will receive a free Championship t-shirt, porcelain Championship cup and a certificate.
Contact Emma Markland Webster NZSCA Event Manager for any curly questions around judging.
