We will do our best to assign you to activities you are interested in. You are expected to staff all assigned activities. Please show up at the assigned location a few minutes early and be ready to have fun and help out.
Your answer
Every staff member will be assigned babysitting duties. This means your job is to be in the cabin area, wear a sign (so parents can find you), and move between the cabins, listening for cries or other sounds from the cabins. If you hear a crying child or a kid comes out to find you, etc, see if you can help the and if needed, help locate their parents (most likely at the adult activity). Parents may talk to you specifically about their child as they leave the cabins as well. Make sure to pass on any needed information to the other babysitters on duty with you or after you.
Your answer
Every staff member will be assigned to waterfront supervision- during meal times the waterfront is closed. The water is dangerous when the lifeguards aren’t on duty! During the meal, if you are assigned, sit near the waterfront and make sure to keep kids from going in the water, remind them that the water is closed and the lifeguards aren’t there. Feel free to start other games or activities with the kids to keep them busy and away from the water.
Your answer
Ever staff member will have an assigned area to clean up at the end of Family Camp. You will be responsible for picking up any trash, collecting lost and found, and gathering any materials that belong to camp or CBS in your location.
