Food Drive Partnership Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in partnering with Columbia Pacific Food Bank to help us organize a food drive.  We receive a lot of partnership requests to help organize food drives, and the demand for this usually increases during the holidays. We greatly appreciate the support of our community in helping us to end hunger in Columbia County. We've created this form to help us stay organized and to make sure everyone is on the same page.

To make this a successful joint venture:
  • Please review the information section below and
  • Complete the form in its entirety
After submitting the form, we will be in touch with you to make arrangements for barrel delivery, pick-up and promotional before and after pictures.

Your support enables us to pursue our mission of providing healthy food and resources, and work towards ending hunger in Columbia County.

If you have any questions about completing this form, please contact Chrissy Marquardt, Marketing & Events Manager at 503.396.0581 or email chrissy@cpfoodbank.org

Quick & Dirty Overview: How To Organize A Food Drive with Us
Decide on a date and/or  timeline - A food drive can be a one-day event or held over multiple weeksWe usually see more participation in food drives over the holidays, and it also benefits us when food supply might be lower.

Decide on a location - Decide where you want to hold the food drive so we know where to deliver food barrels - at your local place of business, at a church, school, your office, at an event, or multiple locations. You also have the option of picking up the food barrel from our warehouse.

Don't have a physical location? We've got two options for you:
  1. Hosting the Food Drive location at the Food Bank: If your business or organization does not have a physical location, you may also request to hold the drive at our location at 1421 Columbia Blvd, St Helens OR. We will limit this to one business or organization per month.

  2. Collect the food throughout the duration of your food drive and deliver your food donations to the Food Bank at the end of your Food Drive

Decide how you will promote the event - think about how you will spread the word and how you will incentivize participation. Some ideas include:
  • Creating and handing out posters and fliers
  • Making announcements at school or work or church
  • Write a press release about the food drive and contacting a local community newspaper
  • Do a radio interview on KOHI.
  • Spread the word via social media
Columbia Pacific Food Bank can help to spread and promote Food Drive partnerships by:
  • Sharing in our monthly newsletter
  • Sharing on Facebook
  • Sharing on Instagram
  • Taking a before and after picture and sharing the result of pounds of food donated via social media
