MISC Citric Acid/Sprayer Request Form
Aloha!
Mahalo for your interest in getting involved to stop the spread of coqui frogs here on Maui! We deeply appreciate your contributions and commitment as a member of our coqui control community.

This form allows you to request citric acid and the loan of MISC sprayers (truck-mounted sprayers, roller sprayers, and backpack sprayers) to assist with coqui control efforts in your area.
Citric acid and sprayer loans are available to community members, with priority given to those who:
  • Have existing infestations of coqui frogs and/or are assisting neighbors or multiple properties with control.
  • Have a pickup truck that can safely accommodate a truck-mounted sprayer.
  • Are willing to complete a safety and operation training and agree to rinse the sprayer thoroughly with fresh water after each use.
  • Will take proper safety precautions when handling and applying citric acid solution.
  • Agree to follow MISC’s Community Codes of Conduct.
We will do our best to process your request as quickly as possible. Please be aware that sprayer availability is limited, and there may be a wait time of several weeks before one becomes available.

PICKUPS - Citric Acid, Backpack Sprayers, Roller Sprayers, and Truckbed Sprayers
Our baseyard is located at Old Maui High School, located on Holomua Road, just mauka of Ho'okipa. We will contact you when you are next in line to coordinate your pick up. We kindly ask that you refrain from coming by campus before we reach out to you. This helps us ensure that a member of coqui crew is present to assist you and that resources are equitably being shared across the whole community. Mahalo for your understanding.

DELIVERY - Citric Acid, Backpack Sprayers, and Roller Sprayers ONLY
Please note that due to time and staffing constraints, we can only offer delivery to addresses with a Haiku zip code. Deliveries are typically fulfilled on Tuesday afternoons, a member of the coqui crew will reach out to let you know ahead of time when your delivery has been scheduled. Sprayers loaned to community members will be picked up by crew the following Tuesday. Please note Truckbed Sprayers cannot be delivered and must be picked up from our baseyard.
Deliveries Only: Any important property information?
For community members requesting a delivery, will our crew need any special instructions for accessing your property? (Gate code, special drop off location, directions, pets, etc...)

Do you need to borrow a sprayer? *
As a part of our Community Coqui Control Program, MISC also offers sprayer equipment for loan to members of the community who do not own their own sprayer for citric acid. Our equipment loan out period is typically one week.

NOTE: Please be aware that MISC has a limited number of each sprayer type. Due to high request volume, some equipment types may have waitlists spanning multiple weeks. Mahalo for your kōkua as we work to share these resources among the community.

Please choose NO if you have your own sprayer equipment.

Please choose YES if you will need to loan out a sprayer from MISC.
