2023 AU x NCKU Taiwan Huayu BEST Chinese Language Learning Scholarship
This AU x NCKU Taiwan Huayu BEST Chinese Language Learning Scholarship (hereafter, the Scholarship) is eligible for all currently enrolled students at Auburn Unitversity, USA.

The Scholarship will provide:
Monthly stipend of TWD 25,000 for a maximum of 3 months or 6 months;

Recipients’ Responsibilities:
(1) Study Chinese for 15 hours per week with the required attendance rate at the Chinese Language Center (CLC).
(2) Recipients of a 3-month scholarship will participate in cultural exchanges and community service activities arranged by CLC.
(3) Recipients of a 6-month scholarship will serve as TAs for 3 hours/week in a bilingual school in Tainan
(4) Take workshops or training sessions about community service or TAship organized by the Foreign Language Center and CLC.
(5) Take the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) at the end of the scholarship period and progress for at least 1 level up compared to the proficiency prior to the course.

Applicants passed the review will take the TOCFL Speedy Screening test online. The decision will be made based on the results of the test.

Notes
The tuition and boarding are not included in this scholarship program. Recipients need to pay for the tuition and other costs from the stipend.
