WBRP Application for Volunteers & Board Members
THANK YOU for your interest in the West Bloomington Revitalization Project. We are seeking volunteers to support our work, serve on committees, join the Board of Directors, and take the lead on special projects.
This form helps us to get to know you better. If you are interested in volunteering, the WBRP Program Manager or a board member will be in touch with you soon. If you are interested in joining the Board of Directors, the Board Vice President will follow up with you to further discuss opportunities.
This form has 4 sections: general information, a section for program volunteers, a section for Board of Directors interest, and a section on the Westside.
We have been serving our community for over ten years. Our success depends completely on our volunteer network and the support we receive from people like you who are invested and engaged in our work.
Please contact Deborah Halperin, Board President, with any questions or concerns:
Our mission statement: The WBRP is a collaborative effort of neighbors and local stakeholders focused on impactful efforts that honor our historical and cultural roots, build on the pride and strengths of our residents, and share a vision for a better quality of life for our neighborhood and the entire community.
Do you live or work on the Westside? (Downtown to Morris/Locust to Taylor)
How are you currently connected to the Westside and/or the WBRP?
Please check any of the volunteer roles that may be of interest to you:
General volunteer: can help as needed or be scheduled to work regular weekly/monthly hours. Able to assist any of the WBRP programs.
Program Volunteer or Leader: focus on specific programs with the WBRP to share my skills and learn new ones, too
Board Member: participate in monthly meetings, and conduct additional work as needed to help govern the organization
I have a group of people that want to do one-time projects for the Westside/WBRP
