Postcard Parties to Turn Georgia Blue with Together We Will Palo Alto Mountain View
Together We Will Palo Alto Mountain View (
) will be supporting our sister chapter candidates from the Athens, Georgia area in a series of fun postcarding events!
Our planned, remaining parties: 10/16 in the evening in Mountain View. We will meet at the Park Place Apartment clubhouse at 851 Church St Mountain View Ca 94041, Tuesday, 10/16 5:30-7:30pm. This is near the leasing office. We are near both Pioneer and Eagle Parks, on the corner. Google maps gives a perfect map for this address :-)
We'll support Deborah Gonzales (GA House 117), Dawn Johnson (GA Senate 47), Johnathan Wallace (GA House 119) and Josh McCall (US Congress GA 9).
We cannot stress the importance of this work enough. Georgia leads the nation in voter disenfranchisement and erasure from voting records. Our cards will not just get people to the polls, but encourage them to check their registration. Georgia is also trending blue with economic and demographic shifts, and many pockets of long time die hard Dems are waking up, too. There is no better time to support Georgia!
We will provide scripts, addresses, pens, stickers, and postcards. We ask that you bring your own stamps or money for stamps. We will sell packs of 10 cards, postage, and printed lists for $4 each if you do not have postage. You may acquire as many packs as you wish. Please bring exact change. You of course can bring your own cards and supplies.
