"Public Speaking for the Classroom" Workshop - Spring 2023 (with Teaching + Learning Commons)

This workshop will focus on how improvisational theater exercises can improve public speaking skills and increase student engagement in your classroom.
You will get to try out techniques that can help you feel more confident in front of a classroom, gain experience thinking on your feet, and learn how to interact with students in a way that encourages collaboration and spontaneity.

This session is open to all UC San Diego educators and is facilitated by Graduate Teaching Consultants from the Teaching + Learning Commons. 

Date: Monday, April 10 3:00-4:00pm
Location: University Center 202-- Room 441 (map; google maps). UC202 is located behind Center Hall, on the corner of Rupertus Way and Gilman Dr.
