DIRECTIONS - Select from the following descriptions the one that best describes the student's employability behaviors.

Unacceptable - An employee with even ONE unacceptable mark indicates that the student’s lack of skills, knowledge, and behaviors could jeopardize future employment.

Basic Level - An employee with basic skills demonstrates some, but not all the skills, knowledge, and behaviors needed for entry level employment in this career path.  Some improvement is still needed.

Entry Level - All employability skill standards are met. The student demonstrates all of the employability skills, knowledge, and behaviors needed for successful employment in this career path.

Professional Level - Employability skill performance is exemplary. The student demonstrates the skills, knowledge, and behaviors needed to be promoted to the next level in the specific career path.
1.  Dependability *
Attends work regularly; arrives on time, ready to work; stays on task until the job is complete with or without direct supervision; notifies the employer in advance of planned absences.  Demonstrates responsibility and trustworthiness.
2.  Human Relations *
Treats supervisors, coworkers and customers with respect; respects confidentiality; displays a positive attitude; successfully demonstrates the roles as leader, follower, and team player.
3.  Communication *
Displays effective verbal and nonverbal communication skills; asks appropriate questions related to assigned tasks.
4.  Appearance *
Displays appropriate dress, grooming, hygiene, and etiquette.
5.  Organization *
Demonstrates ability to plan and organize resources needed to succeed in the workplace; keeps work area neat and clean; prioritizes tasks.
6.  Problem Solving Skills *
 Identifies problems, including potential constraints, and notifies supervisor; identifies resources needed to solve the problem; can generate, develop and evaluate solutions.
7.  Continuous Growth *
Demonstrates the ability to learn quickly and independently; seeks out opportunities for continuous learning.  Learns from their mistakes.
8.  Technical Skills *
Performs technical skills safely and efficiently; shows initiative by seeking out and completing tasks without prompting; successfully follows directions and procedures.
9.  Effort *
Do they try their best, all the time?  Do they look for work to be done?
