As the Team Lead for your organization, welcome to the Challenge! Here's how to get started:
#1 Join the Challenge: This Challenge is open to all Health Action Council Members, Supporters, Sponsors, Community Partners and Friends. Please send your team members’ emails (associated with their Fitbit account) to email@example.com, so that they can receive an invite to the Challenge. Invitations must be sent to the email address associated with each participant's Fitbit account. Teams must have 2 or more participants.
#2 Fitbit Devices - New, Existing, or None at All:Don’t own a Fitbit? No problem! You only need a free Fitbit Account (*sign-up instructions below) to participate, just log your activity as you go.
#3 Key Dates:Deadline to Provide Fitbit with Participant Emails to Join: October 15, 2018Challenge Start Date: October 22, 2018Challenge End Date: November 4, 2018Challenge Duration: 2-weeksChallenge Award Announcement: November 6, 2018
#4 Challenge:This is a 2-week Step Challenge. Teams compete for the highest cumulative daily average steps over the 2-week challenge. The team with the highest average number of daily steps will win a healthy lunch for their team valued at up to $500 AND have a $500 donation provided in their name to either a local Ronald McDonald House or school garden project of their choosing.
